Wild Adventures will host its annual Easter Eggstravaganza on March 28, March 29, and April 4, offering three days of family-friendly activities anchored by thousands of candy-filled eggs scattered throughout the park. The Wild Adventures Easter event is designed with younger guests in mind, with age-specific hunt areas that help keep things organized—and fun.
Children ages 5 and under can take part in a dedicated hunt inside the Wanyama garden walkway, while older kids—up to age 12—will search for eggs in Oasis Outpost. Hunts run from 10:30 a.m. through 2 p.m. each day, giving families a flexible window to join in, with a final hunt kicking off at 2 p.m.
There’s also an early-arrival perk that adds a little extra incentive to get there when the gates open. The first 500 guests each day will receive a complimentary Easter basket, setting the tone for a full day of activities across the 170-acre park.
But the biggest prize may be hidden in plain sight.
Each day, Wild Adventures will place a painted Ostrich Egg somewhere outside the designated hunt zones. The guest who finds it and returns it to Guest Relations will walk away with two Gold Season Passes—a high-value reward that turns the entire park into a giant, interactive scavenger hunt.
Beyond the egg hunts, the experience leans into the kind of all-day outing families expect from a destination park. Guests can meet the Easter Bunny during scheduled appearances at the Wanyama Observation Deck, snap themed photos, and enjoy everything from rides and live entertainment to up-close encounters with hundreds of animals.
“Easter Eggstravaganza is designed to give families a full day of experiences, from the excitement of the hunt to the memories made throughout the park,” said Adam Floyd, the park’s director of sales and marketing. It’s part of a broader strategy to create seasonal events that give families a reason to return year after year.

Located in Valdosta, Georgia—roughly halfway between Atlanta and Orlando off Interstate 75—Wild Adventures has carved out a niche as a value-driven destination that blends theme park thrills, animal exhibits, and water park attractions in one place. With more than 35 rides, a highly rated campground, and a steady lineup of festivals and concerts, it’s a park that aims to deliver more than just a single-day visit.
All Easter Eggstravaganza activities are included with regular park admission or a Season Pass, making it an easy add-on for families already planning a spring visit. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the day, as there’s no early entry for the event.
One note for planners: the park will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 5, so those looking to take part will need to choose one of the three scheduled dates.
For families chasing a mix of tradition and theme park thrills, it’s an Easter celebration that goes well beyond the backyard.
