Tucked into the heart of the Smoky Mountains, Dollywood has added a new dining experience that blends bold Southern flavors with a peaceful, scenic setting. Wilderness Pass Restaurant, the park’s latest culinary addition, just opened and has already become one of my favorite spots in the park.
The restaurant offers a spacious outdoor seating area, giving diners a serene retreat from the park’s hustle and bustle. Surrounded by lush mountain views, the atmosphere is designed for relaxation—a chance to enjoy not just a meal, but a moment of calm amid the excitement of Dollywood.

Wilderness Pass Restaurant’s menu centers around smoked, rotisserie, and wood-fired meats, along with familiar Southern staples. Entrée platters include BBQ braised beef, country sausage, rotisserie half chicken, slow smoked pulled pork, and Southern fried catfish.
To complement the mains, guests can choose from a selection of signature sides: baked beans, cheese grits, corn salad, hush puppies, mac & cheese, spicy collards, and sweet yams.

For lighter fare, the menu also features a variety of soups and salads, including smoky corn chowder, three-bean chili, chicken Caesar salad, and a garden salad.
Children’s options are available as well, with kids’ meals that include chicken drumsticks or an Uncrustable sandwich.
Beverages include Coca-Cola fountain drinks and Dasani bottled water.
Whether you’re craving comfort food or just a quiet place to unwind, Wilderness Pass Restaurant has quickly established itself as a must-visit stop within Dollywood. With hearty meals and a cozy, scenic ambiance, it captures the spirit of the Smokies in every bite.
