Dollywood is giving families a brand-new way to celebrate Halloween this fall with the debut of Harvey’s Boo Bash, the theme park’s first-ever separately ticketed after-hours event.

Taking place on Oct. 16, 23, and 30, the limited-capacity experience will allow guests to enjoy exclusive nighttime access to some of Dollywood’s most popular fall offerings after the park closes to regular visitors. Running from 9 p.m. until midnight, Harvey’s Boo Bash combines the magic of Great Pumpkin LumiNights with candy trails, character encounters, dance parties, specialty food, and access to select attractions, creating a new Halloween tradition in the Smoky Mountains.

While Dollywood’s Harvest Festival has become one of the nation’s premier fall theme park events, Harvey’s Boo Bash marks a significant first for the park. By limiting attendance and extending the fun after hours, guests will have the opportunity to experience the park’s award-winning autumn atmosphere in a more intimate setting.

A Different Way to Experience Great Pumpkin LumiNights

One of the biggest draws of Harvey’s Boo Bash is the chance to experience Great Pumpkin LumiNights after regular operating hours. The popular nighttime attraction transforms Dollywood into a glowing wonderland filled with illuminated pumpkin displays, whimsical characters, and thousands of lights that create a festive harvest atmosphere throughout the park.

Because only a limited number of tickets will be sold each night, attendees can enjoy the displays with smaller crowds while also taking advantage of shorter waits for participating attractions.

Among the rides available during the event is Dollywood’s all-new NightFlight Expedition, giving guests the opportunity to experience one of the park’s newest attractions under the cover of darkness.

Candy, Costumes, and Character Encounters

Halloween fun is at the heart of the new event.

Guests will receive a complimentary candy bag and can visit candy collection stations located throughout the park. Dollywood also plans to offer allergen-friendly options at various locations, ensuring more families can take part in the festivities.

Favorite Harvest Festival characters will be available for meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the evening, while two dance parties will keep the celebration going. The first begins at 9:30 p.m. to kick off the festivities, followed by a late-night dance party at 11 p.m.

Guests are also encouraged to wear costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere that Dollywood is creating for its newest seasonal offering.

Exclusive Treats and Event Merchandise

Harvey’s Boo Bash will feature specialty food and beverage offerings available only during the event, giving guests the opportunity to sample limited-time seasonal flavors created specifically for the occasion.

Event-exclusive merchandise also will be available, allowing visitors to commemorate Dollywood’s inaugural after-hours Halloween celebration.

In addition to the entertainment and attractions, each ticket includes a commemorative souvenir cup, complimentary Coca-Cola fountain drinks throughout the event when using the cup, and a themed snack, adding even more value to the experience.

Tickets Now Available

Tickets for Harvey’s Boo Bash are $129.99 plus tax. Guests who want to spend the entire day at Dollywood before the event begins can purchase special ticket bundles that include daytime admission.

Season passholders and guests staying at Dollywood’s resort properties are eligible for a $5 discount.

Ticket holders may enter Dollywood beginning at 6 p.m. on their selected event date, allowing them to enjoy several hours of Harvest Festival activities before Harvey’s Boo Bash officially begins at 9 p.m.

With attendance limited each night and the event marking a first-of-its-kind experience for Dollywood, Harvey’s Boo Bash has the potential to become one of the Smoky Mountains’ most anticipated Halloween events. Combining the park’s award-winning fall atmosphere with exclusive after-hours access, candy-filled fun, and nighttime rides, it offers families a unique new way to celebrate the season.
