I’m excited to introduce a new feature on Theme Parks By Don — the TPBD Mailbag! Each week, I’ll be answering questions from readers about all things theme parks. From the latest industry news to your favorite parks, rides, and events, this is your chance to get your questions answered and be part of the conversation.

The first TPBD Mailbag debuts this Friday, and I’m now accepting questions for the inaugural edition.

Do you have something you’ve always wanted to know about the theme park industry? Curious about a specific park, seasonal event, or behind-the-scenes detail? Whatever your question, I’d love to hear from you!

Send your questions to: donhelbig@themeparksbydon.com. Please include your first name, city, and state with your submission.

Your question just might be featured in this week’s mailbag!

Find and follow me on Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube for more coverage of theme parks, travel, and roadside attractions.

Hey don this is Kevin and Im from lafayette. Just a question to ask you and I keep hearing people talk about this at kings island over this summer and during haunt time. Since the beast is getting alot of TLC and off season track work done to get it ready for a nice smooth ride for opening day every season. Do you think in the next 2 or 3 yrs or so will the beast run during winterfest. At least run 2 trains. I think it would be a great ideal with alot of night rides during winter fest hrs. Now of they can do it thats the question to were the beast needs alot of off season time to get the trains maintenance on and what ever elece they have to do to the beast to get it ready for a,new season every year
