Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari has released its 2025 operating calendar, marking one of the park’s longest seasons in history with the addition of nine more operating days and extended hours on select dates.
The park, located in Santa Claus, Indiana, will welcome guests from mid-May through the first weekend in November, giving families even more opportunities to enjoy its world-class attractions and signature guest amenities, like free soft drinks and sunscreen.
The extended hours on select summer nights will let thrill-seekers enjoy iconic rides like The Voyage, consistently ranked as one of the top wooden coasters in the world, and Thunderbird, arguably the world’s best wing coaster, well into twilight.

In a time when many seasonal parks are cutting back on operating days and reducing hours, Holiday World is bucking the trend by giving its guests more—more days to visit, more hours to make memories, and more reasons to return year after year.
In addition to the expanded schedule, Friday Night Live! will return for its second year, starting mid-August and continuing through the fall. This evening event features live music, unique food offerings, and a lively atmosphere perfect for winding down the summer season.
The announcement comes after a strong 2024 season and growing popularity for special events like Holidays in the Sky and Happy Halloween Weekends. With the longer 2025 season, Holiday World looks to build on that momentum and solidify its place as a must-visit destination for families across the Midwest.
The full 2025 operating calendar, including specific dates and hours, is available now on Holiday World’s official website.
For nearly 80 years, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari has been a staple for Midwest families, blending nostalgia with modern thrills, free amenities, and unique seasonal offerings. With a longer calendar, extended hours, and the return of Friday Night Live!, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons yet for the Santa Claus, Indiana, destination.
