The custom-designed Fire in The Hole coaster makes history as the Heartland’s largest indoor coaster. Located at Silver Dollar City’s Fire District, it promises an exhilarating experience with a powered incline, gravity descent, three drops, and a quick splash-landing. Enhanced by a custom soundtrack, high-resolution onboard audio, show lighting effects, and special effects like fiber optics creating a fast-burning fuse, the ride brings the Fire in The Hole story to life. Housed in a five-story, temperature-controlled building, the nearly third-of-a-mile-long coaster ensures an enjoyable experience regardless of the weather.

Staying true to Silver Dollar City’s roots, the ride’s storyline is steeped in authentic regional heritage, depicting a fictional account of a night in Ozark Mountain history when the mining town of Marmaros was burned by notorious vigilantes, the Baldknobbers. Fire in The Hole invites visitors on a journey through time, celebrating the resilience of Silver Dollar City citizens who join forces to save their town from the flames ignited by the reckless Baldknobbers.
