Six Flags Over Texas has revealed thrilling enhancements for the upcoming 2024 season, promising an unforgettable experience for park-goers. Among the highlights are a brand-new ride and the much-anticipated return of a fan-favorite.

Introducing “Sylvester and Tweet Pounce and Bounce,” the latest addition to the Arlington theme park. Touted as a family drop tower, this exhilarating ride elevates riders 41 feet into the air, treating them to a captivating series of downward pounces and upward bounces.

In a nostalgic comeback, “Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters” is set to make a splash in the Bugs Bunny Boomtown section on Memorial Day Weekend. This spinning ride, equipped with water blasters in each compartment, invites riders to engage in friendly water duels while in motion—a delightful revival after its temporary removal in 2021 during the construction of the Aquaman ride.

Park President Richard Douaihy expresses the park’s longstanding commitment to providing generations of guests with memorable experiences. “For 63 years, generations of guests have come to the park to have fun and experience thrills with their families,” says Douaihy. “We’re so pleased that these new attractions will offer our guests the opportunity to make even more memories with the people who matter most.”

The park’s second-oldest ride, “Chaparral Antique Cars,” will undergo a transformation in the summer, emerging as “Dino Off Road Adventure.” Expect new cars, a redesigned queue, and the addition of 13 animatronic dinosaurs along the ride route, promising a prehistoric journey for visitors.

But that’s not all—get ready for enhanced experiences at “Batman: The Ride” and “Mr. Freeze” as their queues receive new theming elements. To top it off, the Boomtown Bar is getting a permanent structure, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable place to unwind.

Six Flags Over Texas is gearing up for a spectacular season, blending the charm of classic attractions with the excitement of innovative additions. Make sure to mark your calendars and be part of the adventure as the park continues to be a premier destination for family fun and thrilling experiences.
