Spring in the Smokies isn’t just happening inside Dollywood—it’s blooming across its award-winning resort properties, too.
As the park’s popular Flower & Food Festival (April 18–June 7) returns, both Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa and Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort are transforming the guest experience with seasonal menus, live entertainment and hands-on activities inspired by springtime in the Smoky Mountains.
Fresh flavors headline the spring experience
At the resorts, the festival influence starts with the food.
Culinary teams are leaning into bright, seasonal ingredients, creating menus that mirror the flavors guests will find inside the park. At DreamMore Resort, The Lounge features standout dishes like a Santa Maria-style tri-tip steak served with feta, chimichurri and crispy fries.
Over at HeartSong Lodge, Ember & Elm: Tastes Rooted in the Smokies highlights elevated Southern flavors, including a Tennessee honey flatbread topped with crispy pork belly, feta, honey moonshine BBQ sauce, pickled red onions and arugula.
For those looking for a more immersive culinary experience, a new Flower & Food Festival Chef’s Dinner debuts May 2. The multi-course event brings together chefs from across Dollywood properties for a five-course meal with wine pairings, cocktails, seasonal tablescapes and live entertainment.
A spring escape for relaxation and celebration

The seasonal offerings go beyond the plate.
DreamMore Resort is celebrating Mother’s Day with a special buffet on May 10, featuring everything from herb-roasted prime rib to seafood selections and comfort-food favorites.
At the resort spa, guests can unwind with festival-themed treatments like a signature manicure and pedicure, a wild nectar body treatment and a fresh mint foot ritual. A special rejuvenating foot treatment also ties into the inaugural Run Dollywood race weekend—perfect for post-race recovery.
Live music and hands-on family fun
Entertainment is another key part of the spring atmosphere.
Guests staying at either resort can enjoy performances from rising artists, including American Idol contestants Ferryn and Brinkly Wright, along with singer-songwriters AnnaLea and Joe Lee Stevens, who blend country, bluegrass and gospel influences.
Families will also find plenty to do at Camp DW, where spring-themed programming includes planting parties, craft activities and interactive experiences with Hug-a-Bee Honey, offering a closer look at the importance of pollinators.
Stay packages and exclusive park perks

For travelers planning a Smoky Mountains getaway, the resorts offer three themed Stay & Play packages, bundling accommodations with park tickets, tasting passes or guided festival tours.
Guests also receive exclusive perks that enhance the theme park experience, including:
- Complimentary trolley transportation to and from the park
- TimeSaver passes to reduce ride wait times
- Early ride access during Dollywood’s “Golden Hour”
- In-room delivery of park purchases
With Dollywood’s Splash Country opening May 16, the resort experience expands even further into a full spring and summer vacation hub.
A full-circle festival experience
What makes this offering stand out is how seamlessly the resorts extend the festival beyond the gates of the park.
From curated menus and chef-driven dining events to spa treatments, music and family programming, Dollywood’s resorts turn a day at the festival into a multi-day, immersive spring escape.
For guests looking to slow down, savor the season and take in the beauty of the Smokies, it’s a reminder that the Dollywood experience doesn’t end when you leave the park—it just keeps blooming.
