With the highly anticipated opening of Top Thrill 2 on Saturday, May 4, thrill-seekers from around the globe are gearing up for an adrenaline-fueled ride like no other.

Towering above the skyline with not one, but two colossal 420-foot-tall track towers, Top Thrill 2 promises to deliver an unparalleled experience from start to finish. As riders join the CP Racing Team, they’ll be thrust into the driver’s seat of one of three sleek high-performance racing vehicles, ready to take on the ultimate coaster challenge.

But it’s not just the height that sets Top Thrill 2 apart – it’s the exhilarating triple-launch experience that truly sets pulses racing. Powered by an all-new linear synchronous motor (LSM) launch system, riders will blast off down the straightaway at speeds of up to 74 mph, before rocketing skyward on the iconic 420-foot-tall “top hat” tower.

As the coaster defies gravity with its signature “rollback” moment – a fan-favorite thrill that leaves riders weightless – the excitement only intensifies with a reverse launch reaching speeds of 101 mph. And just when you think you’ve caught your breath, brace yourself for the spine-tingling backward climb at a 90-degree angle on the towering new track tower, followed by a final launch clocking in at a blistering 120 mph.

On Top Thrill 2, riders will experience the rush of the race like never before, culminating in a heart-stopping dive into a 270-degree spiral before crossing the finish line in a blaze of glory.
