There’s something special about a milestone season, and Hersheypark is leaning into it in a big way.
The largest amusement park in Pennsylvania is officially open for its 120th operating year, kicking things off with seven Spring Weekends running through May 17. Guests can expect extended hours over Easter Weekend, before the park shifts into daily summer operations beginning May 21.
Spring at Hersheypark blends nostalgia with variety, offering more than 50 rides and attractions (weather permitting), including the most roller coasters in the Northeast. Among them is Comet, the park’s oldest continuously operating coaster, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this season—a reminder that Hersheypark’s history is just as much a draw as its thrill lineup.
Admission during Spring Weekends packs in more than just rides. Tickets include Hershey Character meet-and-greets—featuring fan favorites like Hershey Bar and Reese—along with the Our Friends From The Sea show, where guests can see playful marine animals up close. Access to ZooAmerica is also included, offering a walk-through wildlife experience with dozens of North American species.
Food is part of the story, too. Hersheypark is introducing new sweet and savory options this spring, including fresh flavors celebrating the 10th anniversary of its popular King Size Shakes—an over-the-top treat that has become a signature park indulgence.
For those planning a visit, spring ticket deals are currently available online, offering a chance to save ahead of the busy summer season. And for frequent visitors, a Season Pass continues to be a strong value play, typically paying for itself in about three visits. Passes are currently offered at a discount, with a five-month payment plan available for purchases made through April 17.
Whether it’s the pull of classic coasters, up-close animal encounters or simply a dose of what the park calls “Hersheypark Happy,” the 120th season is shaping up to be both a celebration of the past and a preview of another busy year ahead.
