Christmas in the Smoky Mountains comes with twinkling lights, festive entertainment and plenty of family traditions. But at one popular Pigeon Forge attraction, the holiday season brings something a little different: a good old-fashioned family feud.

The Hatfield & McCoy Christmas Dinner Feud returns Friday, November 6, transforming one of Pigeon Forge’s most entertaining dinner shows into a hilarious holiday celebration where peace on Earth might be asking a little too much.

Running through January 3, 2027, the seasonal production combines Christmas music, dancing, comedy and jaw-dropping stunts with the kind of family squabbles that make the Hatfields and McCoys famous.

A Christmas Celebration Where Anything Can Happen

Pa Hatfield and Ma McCoy are determined to put their differences aside long enough to celebrate the season. Unfortunately, getting these two families to agree on anything is easier said than done.

What follows is an evening of holiday mishaps, unexpected surprises and plenty of laughs as the rival clans attempt to discover the true meaning of Christmas.

Adding to the merriment is Lil Hickory, a mischievous pig whose holiday antics make him one of the show’s most memorable characters.

It’s a Christmas celebration that embraces the lighter side of family disagreements, making it an entertaining option for visitors looking to add something beyond traditional holiday activities to their Smoky Mountain getaway.

And after watching the Hatfields and McCoys attempt to celebrate together, even the most chaotic family Christmas gathering might seem downright peaceful.

Come Hungry for a Southern Holiday Feast

The entertainment is only half the experience.

Guests are treated to an all-you-can-eat, family-style dinner featuring a generous spread of Southern comfort food served straight from Ma McCoy’s country kitchen.

The meal begins with creamy vegetable soup and warm homestyle bread before the main course arrives.

Fried chicken, pulled pork barbecue, mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw and corn on the cob fill the table, with a special holiday dessert providing a sweet finish.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free meals are also available upon request.

With dinner included as part of the experience, families can enjoy an evening of entertainment without having to make separate restaurant plans.

Make It Part of a Smoky Mountain Christmas Getaway

Pigeon Forge is a popular holiday destination, and the Hatfield & McCoy Christmas Dinner Feud offers visitors another way to enjoy the season while exploring the area.

Whether spending a weekend in the Smokies, visiting nearby holiday attractions or planning a family vacation during Christmas break, the dinner show provides an indoor entertainment option that combines a full meal with live performances.

Its run through January 3 also gives travelers visiting after Christmas an opportunity to enjoy the festivities without squeezing everything into the busy weeks leading up to December 25.

For families who enjoy comedy, music and a little friendly competition, this holiday feud offers a different kind of Christmas tradition.

After all, Christmas is supposed to bring families together. At the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud, watching two families try to get along is half the fun.
