With the arrival of spring, I’m eagerly anticipating using my season pass to experience Dollywood’s Flower & Food Festival presented by Covenant Health. From April 19 to June 9, Dollywood transforms into a captivating wonderland of vibrant blooms, delectable flavors, and lively entertainment—all under the backdrop of the stunning Smoky Mountains.

The festival promises a feast for the eyes with over one million flowers creating breathtaking installations throughout the park. I can’t wait to encounter the whimsical butterfly umbrella, woodland creatures, and the touching tribute to Dolly’s mother, all crafted from colorful blooms by Mosaicultures International.

What excites me most is the opportunity to savor spring’s freshest flavors. The festival’s culinary offerings, including honey BBQ ribs, garlic shrimp mac & cheese, and cinnamon sugar sweet potato fries, promise a delightful journey for the taste buds.

Amidst the blooms and bites, guests can enjoy live music performances featuring artists like the Hall Sisters and Robinella, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event.

A highlight of this year’s festival is the debut of The Dolly Parton Experience on May 24. This immersive exhibit promises to delve into Dolly’s remarkable life and career, offering a unique insight into her journey from the Smoky Mountains to international stardom.

As I look forward to this vibrant celebration of spring, I can’t wait to capture Instagram-worthy moments beneath the mesmerizing Umbrella Sky, and explore festival-themed activities at Dollywood’s resorts, including HeartSong Lodge & Resort and DreamMore Resort and Spa.

Beyond the Flower & Food Festival, Dollywood’s calendar is packed with exciting events like Sweet Summer Nights and the enchanting Smoky Mountain Christmas, ensuring there’s something to look forward to throughout the year.

Join me at Dollywood’s Flower & Food Festival for a joyful immersion in nature’s beauty, delicious culinary experiences, and the enduring spirit of Dolly Parton. It’s the perfect way to embrace the season in the heart of the Smoky Mountains.
