Fans of Dolly Parton and Dollywood will be able to enjoy the sounds of the Smoky Mountains anytime, anywhere, with the launch of “Dollywood Radio.”
The new streaming station, created through a partnership between Dollywood and iHeartMedia, will be available beginning July 7 on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio app. The station will feature music from Parton’s legendary catalog, along with songs from her favorite artists across country, bluegrass, and gospel genres.
The launch comes as Dollywood celebrates its 40th anniversary season in 2025. In addition to Dolly’s music, the station will include tracks featured as part of the park’s in-park atmosphere music and special shout-outs from Parton herself.
“Dolly Parton is a living legend, and now her music, the music she loves, and the fun of her Dollywood theme park all have a dedicated home on iHeart’s Dollywood Radio, hosted by Dolly herself,” said Jon Zellner, President of Programming Operations & Digital Music for iHeartMedia. “This new station captures the heart and soul of the Smoky Mountains, featuring a handpicked blend of country classics, bluegrass, folk, and songs by some of Dolly’s dearest friends in music.”
Dollywood officials say the new station is another way to bring the spirit of the theme park to fans year-round.
“The partnership with iHeartMedia to develop Dollywood Radio is exciting for us because it means our loyal fans can enjoy the sounds and excitement of a day at Dollywood even if they aren’t able to be here,” said Pete Owens, Dollywood’s Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. “We know our guests are going to enjoy being able to take a little bit of Dollywood home with them.”
The station is part of a year-long celebration marking four decades of Dollywood, which has grown into one of the nation’s top theme park destinations, blending Appalachian culture, music, family entertainment, and the unmistakable influence of Dolly Parton herself.
