If your idea of the perfect holiday outing includes millions of lights and a big “look up” finale, Wild Adventures is giving families another reason to stay late.

The South Georgia theme park will debut its Holiday Horizon Drone Show on Dec. 20, adding a large-scale nighttime display to its Christmas Wild & Brightcelebration. The show will send synchronized drones into the sky, choreographed to festive music, with formations designed to create colorful holiday scenes that move in time with a mix of classic and modern Christmas tracks. It’s included with park admission and is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.

Wild Adventures is positioning the drone show as the capstone moment for guests visiting its Christmas Wild & Bright event, which transforms the park after sunset with more than two million lights, seasonal food and treats, and entertainment across the property.

“We are excited to introduce a new Christmas drone show,” said Asher Raymond, the park’s public relations specialist, noting that guests responded to earlier drone presentations this year. Those included the Summer Nights Drone Show and the fall-themed LumiNight Skies Drone Show. “With the Holiday Horizon Drone Show, we’ll bring fresh sights and sounds that capture the Christmas spirit,” Raymond said.

The park says the new addition complements the event’s mix of holiday staples and theme-park extras: rides running under the glow of light displays, animal experiences, Santa visits at Santa’s Outpost, and roaming seasonal entertainment.

Donald Spiller, Wild Adventures’ general manager and vice president, described the drone show as a natural “final act” to end the evening.

“The Holiday Horizon Drone Show adds a new layer of bright, wild fun to Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright,” Spiller said. “Not only can guests experience their favorite rides and animals, meet Santa Claus at Santa’s Outpost and see some festive holiday entertainers, the night ends perfectly with a dazzling display of colorful, holly jolly drones.”

Wild Adventures is also tying the season to a community donation drive through its partnership with Toys for Tots. Guests who bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more can purchase a single-day admission ticket for $19.99 on select days through Dec. 31.

“Not only do our guests receive a great value to experience the joy of Wild Adventures Christmas Wild & Bright, but they also get to deliver joy to those in need,” Raymond said.

For visitors looking for a discounted ticket without the donation component, the park says its Half Off Christmas Sale is underway, with single-day admission tickets priced at $29.99 for visits on select days through Dec. 31. The park is also promoting 2026 season passes, which include admission to this year’s Christmas Wild & Bright event plus access throughout the 2026 season, with season passes available for as low as $95.
