The holiday season is about to shine a little brighter in South Georgia. Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta is transforming once again into a glittering winter wonderland for its annual Christmas Wild & Bright celebration — the region’s largest holiday event — returning November 21 and continuing on select days through New Year’s Eve.
This year’s celebration promises more lights, more treats, and more festive fun than ever before. Guests can stroll through dazzling displays illuminated by more than two million lights, from the glowing Twinkling Timbers to the festive Woodland Outpost, where towering reindeer with luminous horns set the scene for holiday photos and family memories.

As night falls, the park’s Tree Lighting Ceremony becomes a centerpiece of the evening, featuring South Georgia’s largest Christmas tree. Each night, one lucky child will have the chance to flip the switch and light up the sky — a moment sure to make their holiday season unforgettable.
Visitors can also walk through the Wonder Walk, where the Alapaha Trail transforms into a sparkling forest of color, or board the Safari Train as it turns into the Candy Cane Express — a peppermint-themed ride through a world of red-and-white magic.
Holiday entertainment takes center stage with several must-see shows. The Carol of the Animals Lake Show brings music and motion to seven floating Christmas trees, while The Miracle of Christmas – A Living Nativity tells the story of the first Christmas in a heartfelt, moving performance. Over at The Spirit of Christmas, Santa’s elves get to work in a family-friendly show packed with laughter and holiday cheer. On December 20, guests can look to the sky for the Holiday Horizon Drone Show, a stunning high-tech light display that caps off the celebration.
For families eager to meet the season’s most beloved characters, Santa’s Outpost offers an interactive experience complete with storytelling, cookie decorating, and Santa’s Snow Storm Party. Over at Holly Jolly Junction, visitors can meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Clarice, and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster — a nostalgic nod to the classic holiday special brought to life.
Of course, no holiday celebration would be complete without festive treats. Guests can indulge in seasonal favorites like Hot Chocolate Fried Oreos, Stuffing Stackers, and Eggnog Milkshakes. For $30, the Christmas Dining Pass offers one meal, two snacks, and unlimited soda refills — the perfect way to taste the holidays from every corner of the park.
Families can also cozy up around a fire to make s’mores, take group photos under twinkling lights, or simply enjoy their favorite rides with a festive twist. It’s an event designed to create cherished traditions that keep guests coming back year after year.
Christmas Wild & Bright is included with park admission or a 2026 Season Pass.
