Dollywood’s Splash Country celebrated its 14th annual Water Safety Day in grand style, hosting the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. Over 700 guests took part in this significant event, setting a new participation record for Splash Country and contributing to the global count of participants at water parks worldwide.

A highlight of this year’s festivities was an additional swim lesson emphasizing swim inclusivity. Held in the Cascades area of the park, this special session provided guests with varying levels of ability the opportunity to enjoy a tailored swim lesson, ensuring everyone could participate in water safety education.

The day’s activities extended beyond the swimming lessons. Park visitors enjoyed multiple demonstrations designed to enhance comfort and safety around water for both parents and adults. 

Community first responders and water safety experts were on hand to share valuable tips at various booths throughout the park, with representatives from Covenant Health’s LeConte Medical Center among the notable contributors.

Overall, Water Safety Day at Dollywood’s Splash Country was a resounding success, emphasizing the importance of water safety through engaging and inclusive activities.
