Something mysterious is brewing deep in the quarry walls of Six Flags Fiesta Texas — and fans are already dialing in for clues.

The San Antonio amusement park set social media buzzing after posting a cryptic image to Facebook and X teasing an “out of this world” attraction. The post included the phrase “Mystery is calling” and the hashtag #WHATSWITHIN, along with a photo of a sign referencing Crackaxle Canyon and a 2027 development timeline.

If that name sounds familiar, it should. Crackaxle Canyon is the themed area of the park that’s home to thrill favorites like Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger and Iron Rattler, both set against Fiesta Texas’ dramatic quarry wall backdrop.

A Phone Number and a Recording Add to the Mystery

Eagle-eyed fans noticed a phone number on the teaser sign — and yes, it works.

When dialed, callers are greeted by a recording from a man identifying himself as part of the “Crackaxle Canyon County Cooperative.” The message repeats the “out of this world development zooming to you in 2027” language and adds a playful invitation:

“You’re definitely going to want to slide on by.”

Another intriguing detail? The recording references 130,000 square feet of adventure coming to life “in this magnificent quarry wall with majestic wildlife.”

That’s a sizable footprint — especially in a section of the park already known for dramatic terrain and immersive theming.

What Could It Be?

So what exactly is zooming into Crackaxle Canyon at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2027?

The “out of this world” phrasing suggests a space theme — potentially a sci-fi coaster, immersive dark ride, or even a next-generation indoor attraction carved into the quarry wall itself. The phrase “slide on by” could hint at a coaster, a launched experience, or even a multi-level adventure attraction.

And that 130,000-square-foot clue? That’s large enough to support a major expansion — possibly blending indoor and outdoor elements within the canyon setting.

For a park that has leaned heavily into high-impact additions in recent years, this feels like more than a minor upgrade. The deliberate teasing campaign signals something headline-worthy.

The Bigger Picture

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has built a reputation for bold, terrain-driven attractions that take full advantage of its quarry setting. A large-scale addition in Crackaxle Canyon would continue that trend while potentially redefining the area’s identity.

For now, though, the park is keeping fans guessing.

One thing’s certain: when a park starts telling you mystery is calling — and gives you the number to dial — they’re inviting you to be part of the story.

So what do you think is coming to Crackaxle Canyon in 2027? A record-breaking coaster? An immersive indoor adventure? Something truly “out of this world”?

The quarry walls are keeping their secrets — at least for now.
