Fans eager to visit Dollywood will soon have another unique way to get there—by boarding a themed flight designed specifically for the park’s biggest enthusiasts.

After Allegiant’s inaugural “Destination Dollywood” fan flight sold out within days, the airline and Dollywood Parks & Resorts are launching a second special flight for travelers from Orlando who want to experience the Great Smoky Mountains and one of America’s most celebrated theme parks.

The new flight, Allegiant #2925, will depart from Orlando Sanford International Airport on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, and land at McGhee Tyson Airport—the primary gateway to the Smoky Mountains and Dollywood.

And just like the original flight, the journey will be part of the experience.

A Theme Park Experience at 30,000 Feet

Passengers on the new “Destination Dollywood” flight can expect far more than a standard airline trip.

According to Allegiant Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells, the partnership reflects the airline’s broader philosophy about leisure travel.

The concept clearly resonated with travelers. The inaugural Allegiant fan flight—Flight #925—became one of the fastest-selling flights in the airline’s history.

The excitement surrounding the fan flights highlights the continued popularity of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the surrounding East Tennessee region as a travel destination.

Dollywood Parks & Resorts President Eugene Naughton said the quick sellout confirmed what park officials already suspected.

“We knew our friends in Orlando would be excited,” Naughton said. “The Smoky Mountains provide a welcome and relaxed retreat from the fast pace they experience every day.”

Because many fans missed out on the first flight, the second departure offers another chance to combine a themed travel experience with a visit to one of the country’s top-rated theme parks.

Dollywood has been named Tripadvisor’s #1 theme park in the United States three times in the past four years and continues to collect industry honors, including multiple Golden Ticket Awards for guest experience, kids’ attractions, and family coasters.
