Families looking for a spring getaway with rides, water attractions, and live music may want to put Wild Adventures Theme Park on their radar this May.
The Georgia theme park will continue its 2026 Wild Adventures LIVE! Concert Series on Saturday, May 9, with a performance from Chris Janson, adding another marquee night to the park’s 30th anniversary celebration.
Known for upbeat country hits like “Buy Me A Boat,” “Fix A Drink,” and “Good Vibes,” Janson has built a reputation as one of country music’s most energetic live performers. The Grand Ole Opry member has earned billions of streams globally, multiple Gold and Platinum certifications, and more than 10 million sales as a solo artist.
“We’re so excited for Chris Janson to take the Wild Adventures LIVE! Amphitheater stage,” said Asher Raymond, public relations specialist. “What better way to cap off a day at Wild Adventures than singing along to a live performance of ‘Buy Me A Boat.’ It is sure to be ‘Good Vibes’ all around.”
A Full-Day Destination with a Concert Finale

What makes this event especially appealing for travelers is the ability to pair a concert night with a full day of theme park fun.
Located in Valdosta, roughly halfway between Atlanta and Orlando off Interstate 75, Wild Adventures spans 170 acres and combines amusement park thrills, animal encounters, and water park fun in one destination.
Guests can enjoy more than 35 rides, hundreds of exotic animals, and Splash Island Waterpark before settling in for the evening concert.
That combination gives Wild Adventures a strong edge for families seeking more than a one-dimensional concert experience. Instead of just attending a show, visitors can build an entire day around it.
What to Know Before You Go
The Chris Janson concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Wild Adventures LIVE! Amphitheater.
A park admission ticket or Season Pass is required to attend. General Concert Admission is $10, and guests in the general admission section may bring chairs and blankets.

- $15 for all other guests in advance
- $20 day of show
For guests planning multiple visits, Season Passholders receive free General Concert Admission to every concert in the series, with discounted reserved seating for Gold and Diamond passholders.
More Big Names Still to Come
The 2026 concert lineup continues throughout the season with performances by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, Parmalee, LOCASH, Travis Tritt, The Beach Boys, Australian Pink Floyd Show, Skillet, and for KING + COUNTRY.
Why This Matters for Travelers
Regional parks that package rides, water attractions, wildlife, and nationally recognized concerts create stronger value for families watching vacation budgets. Wild Adventures is leaning into that strategy during its 30th anniversary season—and Chris Janson’s May 9 concert could be one of the most crowd-pleasing nights of the year.
